Tyra gets served with court papers

Well, this happened…

And then this…

No mercy for your faves in the eyes of the law!

And Tyga, you’ve officially been served!

Last night Tyga’s sneaker launch had a bit of an interesting twist! While autographing the boxes of his L.A. Gear “Liquid Gold Shoe” sneakers at Shiekh Shoes in Hollywood, one unsuspecting fan turned out to actually be a process server and served Tyga with “them papers!” While handing over his two boxes of kicks for the signing (totaling about $250 for both pairs), the man also pulled out Tyga’s legal paperwork from his back pocket in the same unsuspecting motion you’d hand over a celeb a poem, album cover or pic to autograph for you. Slick!

The best part about all this was that in the end, the server made sure to get his pic for the ‘gram when he prompted the 26-year-old rapper to take a fan pic with him, resulting in the two chunking up matching “deuces.” Hilarious.

Tyga is looking like “I’m just smiling so I won’t get fined!”
Meanwhile, although it hasn’t been confirmed what Tyga was served for, according to a federal tax lien obtained earlier last month, the rapper owes nearly $100,000 in back taxes, including $11,201 for 2009, $4,437 for 2010, and $76,008 for 2011, for a grand total of $91,648. Ironically, that’s almost the same amount of money he spent designing his new L.A. clothing store, Last Kings. This will be interesting to see how it all turns out.
